How We Work
Our B Leaders are expert guides for your journey rather than an outsourced service to ‘get it done’ for you. This is because B Corp Certification intrinsically requires commitment and ownership on the part of the company undertaking certification.
The roles we do play include mapping your Certification journey, aligning stakeholders, providing expert advice and guidance throughout the process and holding project accountability to help you maximise your score.
Of course we also provide guidance on policies and documentation requirements, although these are best originated through the company itself. See our Resources page for more information on the type of asset available.
The Business Case for African B Corps
Not only is B Corp Certification beneficial at a company level to promote sustainable business practices, but in local trade it can be a real brand differentiator given the necessity of ethical and transparent business practices.
Beyond domestic business, B Corp Certification is an excellent indicator to international companies and fellow global B Corps that your business is a trustworthy, quality partner on the continent.
In this instance, companies marketing products to international audiences would benefit from the B Corp trust mark, and those attracting international capital or resources onto the continent could gain a competitive advantage from being Certified.
